Bloom Fintech are transforming global trade and supply chain finance through the power of PayFi (programmable payment finance).
6. How / why did you start your fintech company?
To embrace emerging technologies and combine my skills and experience to design innovative payment and financial products that help businesses operate more easily, efficiently, and at lower cost.
7. What is the best thing your company has achieved or learnt along the way (this can include awards, capital raising etc)?
One of our biggest achievements has been validating strong customer demand early on, which reinforced the importance of listening closely to users and iterating quickly while building a compliant and scalable product.
8. What’s some advice you’d give to an aspiring start-up?
Focus relentlessly on solving a real problem, speak to clients as early as possible, vision is very important and don’t underestimate the importance of execution, resilience, and building the right team around you.
9. What’s next for your company? And are you looking to expand overseas or stay focussed on Australia?
Our immediate focus is on deepening our product offering and growing our presence in Australia and expand product lines and features.

We admire companies that combine strong product design with disciplined execution, particularly fintechs that have successfully navigated regulation while continuing to innovate.
11. What’s the most interesting or funniest moment that’s happened in your company’s lifetime?
Like many start-ups, some of our most memorable moments happened early on — including launching features late at night, fixing last-minute issues just before key demos, and realising how much progress a small, committed team can make in a short time.
