Just incase if you’re sitting on good amount of ITC Green Points, which I’m sure you would, thanks to the generous rewards on Axis Bank Credit Cards, you may now redeem them for sweets this Diwali.
ITC Hotels has launched a few festive hampers that can be bought at their luxury properties and select Welcomhotels. Some other ITC properties might have their own unique options too.
Many hotels even offer free home delivery if you live nearby, making it super convenient.
How to Redeem
You can redeem your ITC Green Points for Diwali hampers in two simple ways:
- Through the ITC Hotels app: look for the “Gourmet Couch” section, available in select cities.
- By calling the hotel directly and sharing your OTP at the time of billing.
My Experience
I ordered The Festive Reserve (priced at ₹3,299 + GST) from ITC Grand Chola through the ITC Hotels app using my Green Points. The redemption process was quick and easy.
Although the app mentioned “takeaway” only, the hotel kindly arranged next-day delivery since the location was nearby.
Final Thoughts
It’s always exciting to use points for flights or hotel stays, but using them for sweets is just as satisfying! I’m glad to see ITC Hotels making the redemption process so simple and festive.
A few years ago, Marriott had a similar option, but I haven’t seen one for 2025 yet. Accor Hotels also has some nice hampers (like Sofitel Mumbai), but redeeming points with Accor isn’t as smooth – Pullman Chennai, for example, couldn’t process it.
