Hyperliquid has become one of crypto’s most closely watched derivatives venues in 2026. Its native token, HYPE, has climbed roughly 180% this year, reaching a new all-time high above $75 on June 2. Despite its subsequent pullback, that move has put fresh attention on the decentralised exchange behind it: a purpose-designed Layer 1 (L1) blockchain built around perpetual futures trading. HYPE’s price move is only part of the story. In late May, Jeffrey Sprecher, CEO of Intercontinental Exchange, operator of the New York Stock Exchange, described Hyperliquid as “bigger than Nasdaq.” Speaking more to the sheer volume and variety of…

You’ve got an idea. Now what? Most people stop there. But what if you could turn that idea into a fully funded Kickstarter campaign? In this episode of the Crowdfunding Demystified Podcast, host Salvador Briggman speaks with Toby Roberts, founder of Thaan Grill, who raised $171,155 from 300+ backers. He didn’t start with crowdfunding. He started with a problem. After seeing disposable grills fail in restaurants, he built something better—then tested and refined it repeatedly. This isn’t just about the product. It’s about the process. Toby used crowdfunding to validate demand, refine messaging, and build a community around live-fire cooking.…
Bitcoin Core 31.0: SOLO Pool Node Updated We upgraded the node behind our BTC SOLO mining pool to Bitcoin Core 31.0, the latest major release. Block templates are now built on the new cluster-based mempool, and the release continues the migration of the mining interface to the multiprocess IPC architecture. What changed: Cluster mempool. Transaction ordering was rebuilt around clusters, improving how block templates are assembled and how fee-bumping (RBF and CPFP) is evaluated. Mining interface (IPC). Block-template creation moved further toward the separate mining interface; coinbase data is now returned in structured form. Node performance. The default database cache…

The payment rails connecting traditional finance to on-chain assets are already operational. Arthur Firstov argues that builders are waiting for one thing: a statute that tells them what they can carry. In the end, the House Financial Services Committee’s hearing on tokenization ended without a framework. Still, it produced something arguably more durable. Congress put on the record, with bipartisan agreement, that the regulatory architecture governing tokenized securities does not yet exist and can’t wait. For an industry that spent years arguing its case to largely indifferent lawmakers, that concession matters more than it might appear.Markets don’t wait for congressional…
Asking venture capitalists for investment is a rite of passage for tech founders. This has led to another universal experience: the VC pitching horror story. A massive conversation sharing such stories has taken place all week on X with the comments both funny and infuriating. We read through them all to find the most interesting ones so you don’t have to. Greg Isenberg, a startup podcaster, newsletter writer, and founder of Late Checkout Studio — a holding company whose previous ventures include a company acquired by WeWork — got the conversation started with a story about a VC falling asleep…
I was testing Bitcoin Core 31.0 to see if I could make chains of unconfirmed transactions longer than 25. Release notes say: The mempool no longer enforces ancestor or descendant size/count limits. Instead, two new default policy limits are introduced governing connected components, or clusters, in the mempool, limiting clusters to 64 transactions and up to 101 kB in virtual size. Transactions are considered to be in the same cluster if they are connected to each other via any combination of parent/child relationships in the mempool. These limits can be overridden using command-line arguments; see the extended help (-help-debug) for…
When discussing financial management, it’s important to understand the distinctions between accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR). AP represents the money your business owes to suppliers for goods or services acquired on credit, whereas AR indicates the money owed to you by customers for products or services rendered. Both play essential roles in cash flow management and overall financial health. So, how do these elements interact, and why does it matter for your business? Key Takeaways Accounts Payable (AP) represents money owed to suppliers, while Accounts Receivable (AR) indicates money owed by customers for credit sales. AP is classified…
